We sat down with Timothy of Calvary Chapel Church to learn why he switched from a cheap prosumer camcorder to a PTZOptics Streaming kit and how he has seen his church grow since.

Gary runs Soto Studio at USC Keck School of Medicine. His studio offers a fee for service green screen studio that is customizable to professors needs for distance education and face to face courses to be recorded or live streamed. The studio is also open to the public for reasonable prices.

We interviewed Paul Richards, the author of a new book called "Helping Your Church Live Stream." This book is a guide book about how to spread the message of God with live streaming. The guide covers church video production, digital donations, streaming video on social media, and more.

For this weeks episode of ConferenceCast, we interviewed Scott Pienta of Pure Energy Light and Sound based out of Michigan. They produce weddings, proms, parties, concerts, and much more. And we wanted to learn more about their live streaming options for these events and how they do it.

Valerie, Donna, Scott work at the University of Texas at Austin School of nursing’s simulation center. This facility is known for its cutting-edge technology including Robo APRN or Robo-Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. This robot was employed to help train students for telemedicine use in the workforce. We wanted to learn more about the need for telepresence and how using RoboAPRN is helping our future healthcare workers.

I'm here with Michael Kaelin today. Michael is an educator at Union School District and he's in charge of streaming media electives. He was tasked at starting a daily live news broadcast for his middle school. They're just getting started and have completed their third week of broadcasts. So, I wanted to talk to Michael to learn about the inspiration to start the show and to see how it's all going. 

Frank Caruso is The City of Easton’s IT manager ( For those of you are not familiar with Easton, it is a city in PA north of Philadelphia) and Frank is heading up the project of bringing live streaming to city council meetings. Frank previously worked for the borough of Kutztown who have been recording and broadcasting their meetings on their local television station for the past 10 years, so he is no stranger to the process. Easton is set to start streaming meetings January 9th so we wanted to chat with Frank and see why they decided to start and what their plan is.
