Latest Generation Intel NUC Micro-PC Review

Posted by Paul Richards on Sep 7, 2016 2:13:35 PM

In this video, Margaret Wilman and Patrick Kirby, review the latest third generation Intel NUC Micro-PC's. Conference Room Systems build and support Intel NUC computers and keep a stock ready to ship same day for customers. The standard in stock Intel NUC includes the latest i5 intel processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 250 GB solid state hard drive.

The Intel NUC i5 micro-PC is ideal for conference rooms because it includes a VESA mount for installation before a LCD display or next to a projector. Putting a Intel NUC behind a LCD display makes HDMI cabling easy and USB cabling for your conference camera.

In this video you will see the opening of the box for the 3rd generation i5 Intel NUC computer and enjoy an intelligent discussion on how the Micro-PC can be deployed.

Conference Room Systems build and support Intel NUC computers and keep a stock ready to ship same day for customers. The standard in stock Intel NUC includes the latest i5 intel processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 250 GB solid state hard drive. But if you are interested in a more powerful Micro-PC CRS also keeps stock of i7 computers that can take 3-5 days to ship.

These Intel NUC computers with a i7 processor are better for live streaming, production and video conferencing than the i5. The i5 processor is about $150 less expensive than the i7 processor. The latest Intel NUC processor shown in this video is the NUC-I7-(NUC5I7RYH).

In the following "Choose your own Adventure" video series, you will learn how to use Intel UNITE with installation instructions, feature overviews such as annotation, collaboration, file sharing and wireless presentation. We go over all the ins and outs of the new Intel UNITE software and the Intel NUCs. In our Intel NUC review we cover the various pre-built Intel NUC's we offer based on processor from: Celeron, i3, i5 and i7. We review how custom built Intel NUC PC's are great for online collaboration rooms and how you can use the Intel UNITE software to create a dedicated appliance for users.

Once your Intel UNITE software is installed in appliance mode you can just give users access to what they need on the Windows based operating system. With the Intel NUC and UNITE as the "host PC" you can connect any tablet, Windows or Mac computer for wireless presentation and collaboration. We review how the file sharing works along with presenting with multiple people in our live demo. Enjoy this "choose your own adventure" video series where everyone can learn a little bit more about the new free Intel UNITE software.
