Hello AV, Broadcast and IT Professionals!

One of the biggest questions that is often asked about live streaming events is, "Why is it important to have multiple cameras?" There are several different reasons why it's important to have multiple cameras during your live stream. The most important reason is, it allows you to fade in and out between different points of interest. Having different points of interest is essential when it comes to capturing the viewer's attention.

In addition, here are some of the other reasons that it's important to have multiple cameras during your live stream:

  • It allows you to pan tilt and zoom, while switching back and forth between shots.

  • Two or more cameras looks more professional than just one.

  • It allows you to get multiple shots during a single take.

  • Reduces the amount of time that is spent editing the footage.
